The Duck House was built in 2014 to replace a former garage and sail-loft. It stands near the entrance to Poltoge and about 100 yards from the main house where the owners live with their dog: Holly.

Guests may park in front of The Duck House or behind in the parking area which is also used by the owners.

The wooded grounds slope steeply down to the tidal creek. Whilst guests are welcome to explore the area to the east of the owners’ boathouse, the paths and creekside are unprotected and therefore not suitable for unaccompanied young children.

If you bring a dinghy or kayaks, you’re welcome to tie-up on our pontoon just below the Duck House. Although Port Navas creek dries out, there’s plenty of water three hours either side of high tide. See Today’s Tides
